Honda Activa 7G: Whats New?
- Engine: The 7G will likely retain the 110cc BS-VI engine, known for its good balance of power and mileage. However, there could be tweaks for better performance and possibly, improved fuel efficiency (currently around 55-60 kmpl).
- Brakes: A major wish on many riders’ lists is a disc brake upfront for better stopping power, especially in panic situations. While there’s no confirmation, a disc brake variant wouldn’t be a surprise.
- Features: The 6G offered an analog instrument cluster. The Activa 7G might take a leap with a semi-digital or even a fully digital unit, potentially featuring Bluetooth connectivity for basic functions like calls and music. Additional features like an external fuel filler cap and a USB charging port could also be introduced for convenience.
- Design: The Activa’s design is iconic, and drastic changes are unlikely. However, the 7G might get sharper styling elements, new color options, and updated graphics to keep it looking fresh.
- Safety: We might see an improved headlamp, possibly an LED unit, for better nighttime visibility. Additionally, features like an under-seat mobile charger could be integrated with an auto cut-off function for enhanced safety.
